we don’t need Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as president…

Now listen, I have absolutely zero hate for The Rock, but I also don’t really have any love, if that makes sense. I don’t care enough about him to hate or love him, and I say this in the nicest way possible, but in this post, I’m gonna knock some sense into some of y’all Dwayne Johnson worshipers ‘cause, someone gotta do it.

Tell me why we have people in this country who want Dwayne Johnson as president?

I literally thought this was a joke when I first heard about it, but no… it wasn’t. Y’all were being serious. About 58% of y’all want this man as president, and that's what scares me.

So to the people who genuinely would want a Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson presidency… why?

I’m not sure who voted in these polls, but I wanna know why. Have y’all learned nothing from celebrities trying to become political figures? Do we all need a run down through history?

When did we as a country migrate into the belief that everybody can and should be president?

We had Donald “my father gave me a small loan of a million dollars” Trump who ran for president and won, and now suddenly, people out here treating running for presidency like it’s a Scholastic book fair.

We have/had the rumors and possibility of Mark Cuban, Mark Zuckerberg, Kanye West, and even Elon “not an American-born citizen” Musk, all potentially being president.

Just ‘cause The Rock is a beloved and respected celebrity, don’t mean he gotta be president.

A lot of people are not understanding the fact that there’s a thick line between Hollywood celebs and politicians.

The Rock has zero experience in politics. Nobody even knows what his policies are, but y’all want him to lead this country?

Y’all want him to lead this nation???

This what y’all want???

Is he a right-winger?

Is he a left-winger?

We don’t know and quite frankly, the fact that The Rock doesn’t speak about who and what he politically aligns himself with, is one of the reasons why he has fans from so many different demographics.

I trust this man to make a good movie, not to run an entire nation. I pay him to keep me entertained, not to lead the United States of America.

The possibility of Dwayne Johnson being president is a thought that should scare you because at this point, we might as well just roll a dice and declare our presidents that way?

I just cannot take this seriously because it seems like something straight out of a game.

You know those ads you get of mobile games where your character starts off homeless and broke, and then all of a sudden it’s: BEAT LEVELS! EARN COINS! And work you way up to being RICH and FAMOUS!” ?

This is exactly what this feels like. Pro-wrestler to Dragon-in-Chief, and I am NOT here for it.

Presidency is a job that should be taken seriously, and with the way this country is out here, randomly nominating candidates, it looks like a joke.

You can love The Rock all you want, but don’t let that love blind you.

Let celebrities stick to being celebrities and let politicians stick to being politicians.
